PERMIAN BASIN’S BILINGUAL OIL-FIELD MOVERS · ODESSA TX

It’s Your Move

Owner-run Odessa movers built for the Permian Basin — 14-on/14-off oil-field rotations, Hablamos español paperwork, and a heat protocol that gets your load shrink-wrapped before the 102°F afternoon haboom rolls in off US-385. Founded 2019 by Travis Cardenas, ex-Pioneer logistics, with our own fleet, $1M cargo coverage, and indoor storage off Loop 338 for the weeks when closing slips behind the rig schedule.

Marisol at the front desk reads every form herself — English or Spanish, doesn’t matter — and the only thing your ZIPs get used for is pricing your Odessa move. It’s your move, not ours.

“Absolutely incredible! We've used several other moving companies in Odessa—specifically one with the initials HM—and had terrible experiences. Midwest Moving was quick, efficient, highly communicative, and, most importantly, went above and beyond to take care of all our belongings.”

Born In The Patch

Permian Basin Roots, Odessa and the Permian Basin Trucks

Travis Cardenas launched It’s Your Move in 2019 after five years dispatching loads for Pioneer Natural Resources — he saw too many roughnecks getting gouged on hot-load rates and started a single-owner crew with one rule: it’s your move, not ours. 7+ years later we’re still Odessa and the Permian Basin-only, still bilingual, still ours.

It’s Your Move means what it says — a W-2 oil-field-shift crew on every job, our own trucks out the bay on W County Rd, and a flat number agreed in writing days before the doorbell rings.

Whether it’s a studio off University Avenue or a four-bedroom out in West Odessa headed ES paperwork to Crescent Park, you get the same oil-field-shift W-2 crew, the same padded gear, and clean Midland-side storage if your closing slides a week.

Texas HHG license on file at the office, USDOT and MC authority for the interstate runs out of Odessa, plus $1M cargo coverage on every move — the paperwork side is buttoned up before a single box leaves the truck.

Reviews From Every Platform

Repeat clients out of Odessa — bilingual EN and ES paperwork both — tend to write something up on whichever platform they used to find us. That’s how the stars stacked up.

How We Show Up

Permian Basin Move & Storage Menu

From a $410 piano across Odessa to a full $1,795 three-bedroom headed east on I-20, the same bilingual crew runs the whole job — and when your closing slips behind the rig schedule, our Loop 338 indoor units hold your gear at $185 a month flat.

Our Wedge

Why Permian Basin Hands Choose It’s Your Move

Paperwork Squared Away

State HHG license out of TX, USDOT and MC numbers on file, $1M cargo coverage on every move — whether it’s a Mission Ridge duplex or an I-20 run to Lubbock, the legal side is handled before move day.

Hardwoods, Walls, Banisters

Heart-pine in University Hills bungalows, freshly-painted drywall in Downtown Odessa towers — runners, jamb pads and shrink go in first thing, before either mover touches a box. Same drill at both ends.

Oil-Field-Shift Scheduling

Both movers on your job are on our W-2 payroll, background-checked, year-round — not day-helpers off Craigslist, not a subcontractor truck. The brand name is the promise.

Flat Rate In Writing

You sign one number before the trucks roll out of West County Road. That’s the number on the receipt at the new place — no padded hours, no fuel add-on at the curb, no “heavy item” line that wasn’t in the email.

Hometown Movers

Local Experts In Odessa & Odessa and the Permian Basin

We are not a national call center — we live and work here. Our crews know the subdivision streets, the gated communities, the apartment complexes, and the Texas weather that comes with every season. From the first quote to the last box, you are dealing with neighbors who have moved this county for 7 years.

Out Across The Basin

Truck-Routes That Cover The Wider Odessa and the Permian Basin

Out of the yard off Loop 338 we run I-20 east toward Midland, Hwy 191 west to the Pioneer pads, and US-385 north to Andrews and the New Mexico line. If your town is on this list — or sits along one of those highways — Annaliese can fit you in this week.

One Owner, One Promise

“I started It’s Your Move back in 2019 out of one box truck — the rule from day one was a W-2 oil-field-shift crew on every job, no day-helpers, no broker calls. 7 years and five trucks later that’s still how every Odessa address gets handled, bilingual EN or ES paperwork, whether it’s a one-bed off Hwy 191 or a four-bed headed up I-20 to Albuquerque.”

Real Permian Qs

Odessa Movers, Answered Bilingually

What does a move cost in Odessa?
Two clean ways to price it, and Travis walks you through both. By the hour it is $149 for a oil-field-shift crew and truck, $129 for three, and $179 for four, and the clock starts when we reach your door, not at the yard. When the job is clear up front we lock one flat rate by home size instead — a studio runs about $320 to $480, a one-bedroom $480 to $880, a two-bedroom $880 to $1,580, a three-bedroom $1,580 to $2,480, and a four-bedroom $2,480 to $3,880. Tell us the pickup, the drop-off, the front steps or elevator on each end, and how the parking reads, and we hand you a written figure — the rate we quote anywhere across Odessa and Ector County is the rate you settle on move day, owner-walked and on budget.
Is It’s Your Move licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed for household moves anywhere in Texas under a state HHG household-goods license, and we carry DOT/MC interstate authority on file for long-haul runs, so a Downtown Odessa job and a haul up I-20 to Midland both ride on proper paperwork. Every move carries $1 million in cargo coverage, and we send our credentials or a Certificate of Insurance straight to a Mission Ridge loft, a West Odessa high-rise, or any building management or HOA that needs one on file before the date.
What does your full-service move actually cover?
The whole job, start to finish, not just the truck ride. Our crew pads and shrink-wraps the furniture, breaks down bed frames and tables, and lays floor and doorway protection before anything leaves the house. Want it all handled? We bring the boxes, paper, and tape and pack the place for you, full or partial. Local or long-distance, a home or an office, with packing or storage on either end — one IYM crew runs the same owner-walked routine on every piece, pianos and gun safes right alongside the boxes, so you are never chasing three different vendors on move day.
How far out should I book the crew?
Saturdays and the last week of the month fill up first, so allow two or three weeks of lead time on those, and a touch more when a Mission Ridge loft or a West Odessa high-rise has to reserve a freight-elevator window. Weekdays and mid-month dates often open up on just a few days’ notice, and when a truck is sitting free we are happy to take last-minute or same-day work. Call (888) 278-9005 and we will tell you straight what is still on the board.
Do you take a deposit up front?
Most local Odessa moves take nothing down — a quick confirmation call the day before is all we need. Long-haul interstate jobs and the busiest Saturday dates hold the slot with a small refundable deposit, and every dollar of it comes right off your final balance.
Where does your crew move?
Odessa and right across Ector County — Downtown Odessa, West Odessa, Mission Ridge, University Hills, East Odessa Village, Tall Tex Estates, Greenwood, Midland, Big Spring, Stanton, and the rest of Ector, Midland, Andrews, Martin, and Howard counties in between. We run I-20, Loop 338, Hwy 191, University Ave, and Hwy 191 every day, handling everything from a Greenwood studio to a stilted bungalow with steep front steps in University Hills, and we head out across North Texas, the I-95 corridor, and beyond on the long hauls on a regular basis.
Do you have indoor storage off Loop 338 for delayed closings?
Yes — the yard off Loop 338 runs indoor, climate-protected units built specifically for West Texas heat and haboom dust. Most engineers relocating to Odessa for Pioneer or ConocoPhillips closings put their load with us for two to six weeks while the title company catches up. $185 a month flat, same bilingual crew loads you in and brings you back out, no re-handling fee.
Hourly or flat — how does Wade price the Permian job?
Local Odessa moves run $149/hr with a two-mover bilingual crew — typical one-bed lands at $475, two-bed near $1,050, three-bed around $1,795. Long-distance (I-20 to DFW, US-385 to Lubbock, runs to New Mexico) starts $2,395 on a written flat figure after Wade walks the inventory in English or Spanish. Everything signed off before Hector rolls a truck.
Do I deposit to lock my hitch-end shift-change date?
A flat $185 deposit holds your date on Annaliese’s board and credits straight back against your final bill. Hitch-end Fridays during the Pioneer / Diamondback 14-on/14-off rotation book up fastest — if you’re on a rig schedule, message Marisol in English or Spanish two weeks ahead and we’ll save the slot.
What coverage rides with my load across the Basin?
Every truck pulls out of Loop 338 with federal released-value liability and our $1M cargo coverage on every move active. For an engineer’s household full of electronics, custom-built oak or a piano, we upgrade to full-value protection — Wade walks the options in English or Spanish before any contract is signed, no high-pressure upsell at the curb.
Need a COI for MCM Grande or a UTPB-area complex?
Yes — MCM Grande Hotel relocations, UTPB faculty apartments and any Odessa and the Permian Basin high-rise that wants a Certificate of Insurance naming the property additional-insured: forward Marisol the management contact and the COI is issued free of charge before your move day, in either language.

Hitch-End Approaching? Let’s Roll.

Send the two ZIPs and your shift-change date — Wade emails one bilingual flat figure inside the hour, signed off Loop 338. It’s your move, not ours.
